Matthew Smeltzer

Managing Partner

Matthew Smeltzer has spent the last nine years in healthcare recruiting and leadership; previously, he was a teacher. During his time at one of the nation’s largest physician staffing firms, he won sixteen awards for production, leadership, and client satisfaction; he also became one of the youngest Senior Vice Presidents in company history, overseeing recruiting efforts for the Eastern half of the country.

Matthew uses a solution-oriented approach that is based upon understanding what is important to the client. “Every client has a story. It is our job to learn what makes each client unique; this helps us communicate that story to candidates and ensures we find the right fit for their group and community. At Capstone, we know every client by name and this allows us to tailor our services depending on what makes sense for them.”

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Lincoln and Lyla. He also loves playing the guitar and watching Georgia football.

Will Hieber is a veteran of the healthcare industry, with ten years of diversified experience in business development, provider recruitment, strategic planning, and practice operations. He has a demonstrated track record of success, with numerous awards and accolades in both production and leadership positions. Those honors including being a distinguished multi-year member of the President’s Club, achieved by less than 10% of recruiters, and winning the “Rising Star” award from one of the nation’s largest physician staffing firms.

Will’s focus on the client experience is the primary reason he has built long-term relationships that result in continued partnerships and clients that refuse to work with anyone else. “While clients may have similar challenges in their recruitment efforts, the solutions must be unique and specific to each client. At Capstone, we are able to give each client the highest level of service, every single time.”

When he is not working, you can find Will with his wife, playing golf, or spending time outdoors likely with his dogs, Nala, Ziggy, and Huck.
